The 9221 black riding coat is designed to protect workers from hazards such as sparks and liquid sprays. Measuring 60 inches in length, it features a corduroy collar, detachable hood, badge ID tab, and a cape-vented back. The snap front closure with a storm flap ensures water resistance, while an outside pocket secures valuables. Made from .35 mm polyester fabric with a PVC coating, the coat offers flexibility and resistance to wrinkles and abrasions, protecting against various liquid splashes. Compliant with the ASTM D6413 test method, this flame retardant coat self-extinguishes when caught on fire, though these properties diminish with washing. It should never be used where an arc flash or fire hazard is present. Each coat is individually packaged in a poly bag, with 12 coats per carton.
